Time has both flown by and gone at snail speed. We so eagerly awaited your arrival and I couldn’t imagine what life would be like with you here. Now, I can’t even remember what life was like without you.
There are so many qualities you have that remind us of each of your bigger bros. Down to the way you sound, the way you look, the silliness that’s emerging from your growth and engagement.
Your first month here you spent a lot of time crying. I figured you just weren’t thrilled to be out of the womb and having a hard time adjusting. And also, the new digestive tract you have… it’s probably just all so new that rightfully so, you were not happy. But at 4 weeks old you started engaging with some coo’s and then smiles. And you seem a lot happier now. I also upped your feeding amount, so maybe you were just extra hungry— oops!
You’re a sweet sweet gift to our family and you are so loved!
Cooper’s Likes: sleeping, snuggling, eating and being held! He also loves baths!
Cooper’s dislikes: being put down. Waking up after a long nap and he’s HUNGRY! Occasionally he doesn’t like the car.
Nicknames: Hungry Hippo, CJ, Coop, Super Duper Cooper, Pooper Cooper, Bubba.
Height & Weight: Well, we skipped his 1 month visit because I couldn’t quite make it work to get him in with 4 kids. Haha. But at his 2 week check up he was 11lbs 4.5oz and 23” so I’m guessing by 4 weeks he is 12-12.5lbs? Maybe still around 23” long.
