As per usual – better late than never! Homeboy is 4 months old (and a little extra!) and just like the other boys, it’s hard to imagine what life was like BEFORE there were three.
Dearest Little Cameron Richard,
You are SUCH a joy. I’m constantly in awe at your gentle and calm spirit. You are so chill and so…. mild. In fact you are a HAPPY little fella. Your big bro’s were happy, but they were also insanely fussy. It was hard. But, you are not a fussy baby. When you are fussy I get concerned because it’s just so rare. I am so intrigued by your personality compared to the big bro’s! Each one of you are so different and perfectly unique.
I feel slightly sad, and I remember this feeling with Big Bro Kobe, that I don’t fully KNOW you. I don’t feel like I understand and in tune with you and your quirks like I was with Crosby. But, that’s ok. We have a whole life time, lord willing, to learn about YOU and who The Good Lord made you to be. I can’t wait to watch it unfold, Bubba. You are a gift!
Love you always,
Cameron’s Likes: homeboy loves his bro’s, loves baths, loves to eat, play, and roll around. There’s not much he doesn’t love. He’s very easy to please and very content with being by himself or with his bro’s.
Cameron’s Dislikes: Gas. But, who does enjoy gas bubbles? He’s also not the biggest fan of waking up too early from naps. Still not a huge fan of the car, we started off super well, but now- after too long he’s like- NOPE.
Nicknames: Cam, Homeboy, the boys call him Cammy, or Cam-buddy. Kobe calls him Cambrin, haha!
Weight: Cameron is roughly 17lbs and 28ish inches long. He is in the 90-95% for all measurements and for my reference he’s in *some* 6, and 6-9m size clothing.
Milestones: Homeboy is in a shoe hurry to catch up with the Bigs. It makes me proud but also sad.
- He is no longer sleeping like a champ – it was too good to be true. Actually, I think our trip to AZ ruined that one. Haha.
- Rolling both ways. And also from belly both ways.
- Found his toes!
- Lots and lots of new sounds and new ways to do spit bubbles, gross.
- Cracking up like a champ.
- Enjoying some tastes of solids!
- Practicing sitting up unassisted and assisted.
- Scooting in circles on his belly to try and get from point A to point B.
- Grabs toys easy-peasy.
