Hold the phone. How on earth is my newbie no longer a newbie but now 3 months old?! The rate at which life is moving is a cruel joke. I so desperately wish time could slow down and my littles can be little forever. Even when the little phase is drowning me in exhaustion, I just don’t want this time to go by faster than it needs to.

I have been so blessed to have 3 boys. And although it took a little time for the big bro’s to really understand this kid was staying forever, they are obsessed with him. Sometimes they’re still jealous of all the attention he gets, but they are constantly asking me about him, making running faces at him and talking to him. Crosby has picked up some phrases that I use quite often and sayings things like “oh that was a good nap bubby! You needed that!” In a soft and high pitched sound. It’s adorable. And when Cameron squawks back they GASP in excitement that “HE CAN TALK MOM!!!”. It’s adorable. They do and say 500 adorable things a day and I wish I could remember them all and capture every moment. They also accomplish about 500 naughty things a day too- it’s not all rainbows and butterflies. Just so we’re clear!

Camerons’s Likes: Homeboy is a big fan of his brothers, a bigger fan of bath time, and thoroughly enjoys nursing. He is an insanely happy baby and loves to smile and have conversations. Honestly, there’s not much he doesn’t love because he’s a pretty content babe. The good lord knew I needed this.

Cameron’s Dislikes: Gas. Cam is not a fan of the gas pains. He is also not a fan of cold hands, but neither am I, bud! When he is super tired he isn’t a fan of waiting to be snuggled or nursed. He gets pretty darn sad about being left alone, even if you’re within 5ft of him. Truth be told, he does not cry a lot. He’s also started to not care for the car so much. Which is ok, but the tears from the back seat make me sad. It’s usually pretty short lived though. Or perhaps my tolerance for such crying has increased since both the bigs hated the car, and Kobe stilllllll hates the car.
Nicknames: Cam, Cam Bam, Homeboy.
Weight: Roughly 15.5lbs(ish), give or take a few ounces.

Milestones: Cameron’s skills have been significantly popping up left and right. He has been doing physical therapy for a while for Torticollis which has improved greatly and we’re up for a re-eval because it’s pretty much resolved, but I wonder with all the extra work if that’s why he seems to be doing more than my boys did- or perhaps he is just in a hurry to catch up to the bigs!
- Sleeping one 6-hour stretch (this never happened with my bigs until about 1yr!)
- Coo-ing and blowing spit bubbles and chatting your ear off
- The first signs of giggles are popping up- this is my favorite
- Attempting to roll from both back to belly and belly to back- and is pretty much successful from belly to back
- Social smiles GALORE
- Napping 3-4x a day at regular and predictable times- again this never happened with my other kids, so I want to remember this!
- Pretty decent head control and kills it at tummy time
- It’s pretty ridged still but he bats at toys and attemps at grasping them
